All components for 155 motherboards have been purchased. A pre-production of 10 boards is now in assembly (due next week)

4/28/00

The proposal to modify the layout was adopted and web pages updated. Drawings in table above reflect the new layout. Shouxiang Wu (wusx@physics.bu.edu) is now in charge of the motherboard design. Please contact him directly for detailed questions.

3/27/00

A proposal is on the table to move the L3 buffer control off the motherboard and onto a PMC. See SLIDES on this subject. A design for the first motherboard prototype is underway; the PCB layout is expected to be done by mid-May 2000, with first prototypes due back in early June.
